Key West Fishing Charters
There are always fish to catch in the water year-round in the Florida Keys. Different times of the year, depths, structures, and temperatures all bring different fish. You just have to know where to go to catch them, and that’s where we at Your Island Charter come in!
We go with the idea of fishing for food. Did somebody say fish tacos? If you love eating seafood as much as we do, then get o here and catch some. There’s nothing like a dinner made from your own fresh catch that day, and there’s no better way to spend the day on the water in the Fabulous Florida Keys.
During the season, I also offer lobster trips (August 6 to March 31 + Mini Season in July)
Tell Me About Your Key West Fishing Excursion
Every fishing trip is different; it depends on the time of year, the weather, and what we’re after. It’s a private charter, so we can do almost anything and go almost anywhere.
There are tons of ways to fish in the Florida Keys: offshore, reef, wrecks, backcountry, you name it. Target species range from Wahoo, Mahi, Tuna, Snapper, Grouper and many more. If it’s blowing stink out in the Gulf Stream, we’ve got some sweet spots in the backcountry.
No pressure fishing charters, if you want to mix up your trip with Sandbar, Snorkeling, or Eco tour/Dolphin watching we can do that too.
Fishing Charter Itinerary
When you book your custom charter, you can pick to head out in the morning or afternoon. All of our charters can be customized to fit your group’s needs.
Charters can leave from Stock Island or Key west typically at 9:00 am or 2:00 pm. Trips can be 4 or 6hrs in length
The itinerary will depend entirely on what we’re after that day and, of course, the weather. Usually its a 30 -45 min ride out to our fishing grounds. We aim to find spots where the fish are biting and you feel comfortable.
It’s an entirely private charter for up to six people, so we have lots of flexibility.
